Director - Sales - ERP/Cloud/SaaS - Education Domain (5-10 yrs)
- Extensive business development/sales experience in the Education arena
- Must be from Higher Education background with Target-Driven Approach
- Must have previous experience in dealing with educational institutions through product/services
- Must have strong and influential connections in the Education Industry
- Driven self-starter with a proactive approach to serving professionals at all levels in a client-oriented environment
- Possess excellent communication, listening and presentation skills, extremely enthusiastic, motivated and aggressive
- Strong negotiation skills, closing skills and diligent follow-up skills
- Channel management /key business account management
- Must be able to define, forecast business and activities for different regions/territory
- Work closely with the stake holders to develop and grow the sales pipeline consistently to meet quarterly revenue goals.
- Provide team leadership and coaching.
- Strive for team consensus and win-win agreements.
- Coach and help develop team members; help resolve dysfunctional behavior.
- Provide status reporting of team activities against the program plan or schedule.
- Monitor team performance and report on metrics.
- Discover training needs and provide coaching.
- Should be able to provide business references, upon request.
- Good PC skills
