Director - Sales - Education (10-15 yrs)
Role :
Our client is hiring for the role of Sales lead who will be responsible architecting a sales strategy, plays a highly cross-functional role to drive sales through the web/app platform and scale revenue to the next level. The person should be excited by selling into new markets, strategizing next steps, and beating the competition in head-to-head opportunities.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for top-line revenue goals within the established investment budget to achieve company's sales goals.
- Developing, implementing, managing and reporting on Sales plans to improve site metrics by increasing conversion and other KPI's.
- Own the business, Co-own the P&L, develop the business sales model, understand where opportunities are and manage complete business operations with accountability for profitability
- Stay on top of market trends in an ever-changing landscape, find opportunities and prioritize KPIs based on size, internal capabilities,etc.
- Analyze customers- experience across channels and touchpoints through web analytics and determine potential improvements.
- Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet sales objectives
- Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers both externally and internally
Requirements :
- B.E/B.Tech/MBA or other PG Qualification.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Sales domain with Leading Internet/E-commerce/ start-ups
- Expert on deciphering data & and user trends
- Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities.
- Detail-oriented, and comfortable with advanced analytics.
- Clear understanding of digital marketing, user acquisition, growth marketing & monetization strategies across ecommerce
- Should have been hands on with marketing automation tools like Oracle, mo-engage, web engage, fair under standing of GA
- Deep understanding of EdTech as a category & experience preferred
- Individual contributor and a team leader at the same time (situational leadership)
