Direct Sales Agent - Banking Products (0-5 yrs)
Job Overview :
The Direct Sales Agent for Banking Products will be responsible for promoting and selling banking products directly to customers. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong sales background and a comprehensive understanding of banking products and services. The ideal candidate will be proactive in generating leads, building relationships with potential customers, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Selected Candidates will be required to participate in training sessions held at our Chennai office, where they will receive comprehensive instruction on banking products and sales techniques.
- Exceptional performers may be offered opportunities for overseas placements, allowing them to expand their skills and contribute to our global operations.
- Actively promote and sell banking products, including savings accounts, loans, credit cards, and investment products, to potential overseas customers through various sales channels, including direct sales calls, meetings, and presentations.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by proactively prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting cold calls, and leveraging networking opportunities.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments with customers to understand their financial goals and requirements, and recommend appropriate banking products and services to meet those needs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the bank's products and services, including features, benefits, and pricing, to effectively communicate with customers and address their inquiries.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including activity reports, pipeline updates, and sales performance analysis, to management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
- Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, policies, and procedures, including those related to sales practices, privacy, and data security.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to identify opportunities for product differentiation and competitive positioning.
Candidate Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with a focus on achieving sales targets and objectives.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office.
