We have around 200 staff based in 7 cities in India.

The Role : 

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Strategist who will maximize supporter acquisition opportunities and effective engagement with existing supporters through a variety of digital channels.

This role is about strategizing income targets by generating leads and acquiring a diverse and secure fundraising base through mass marketing campaigns. The role will also design engagement methods that inspire both current and prospective donors by promoting the client's campaigns.

Our client does not accept money from governments, corporations, or political parties and relies only on individual donors and hence this role plays a key role in donor acquisition.

What will you do?

- You will be designing and executing the annual and long-term strategy and associated budgets for supporter acquisition through a variety of marketing channels

- Monitor and evaluate the supporter acquisition plan and effectiveness of the digital channels being used and recommend alterations

- Facilitate the growth of our donor base by exploring and implementing various digital acquisition platforms and through paid advertising, digital display, email, SMS, third party providers and out of home advertising

- Work with the rest of the Digital team on SEO (search engine optimization) strategy for implementation

- Collaborate with fundraising teams to create campaign journeys using a variety of digital channels and other engagement tools and tactics to convert our existing non-financial supporters into financial donors.

- Research and develop new digital acquisition programs and approaches, new channels, products, and propositions and nurture the culture of innovation within the team

- Create, evaluate, and recommend learnings for written test plans when testing new campaigns that allow rapid experimentation, learning, and refined tests

- Ensuring compliance with GDPR, our Privacy policy, spam, SMS, or other regulations as well as subscriber preference management.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships in the digital fundraising community and the key international digital fundraising communities

- Participate in international skill shares when appropriate

What will you bring to this job?

- 5+ years of experience in professional digital marketing, including advertising in digital channels

- Strong knowledge and practical understanding of marketing and/or fundraising

- Expertise in lead generation & conversion

- Excellent attention to detail and focus on the quality of the leads generated.

- Strong project management skills, with the ability to design and run effective test programs

- Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator

- Understanding of HTML and digital development

- Practical knowledge of Google Analytics for tracking and measuring success and SEO
