Category Managers have end-to-end responsibility for the customer experience and growth of the category they have been assigned to. Dikazo strives to present its customers with the widest selection of products at the best prices - The Category manager's role is to bring in the relevant assortment, design targeted promotions, and manage partners including sellers and brands. Category managers anticipate customer needs and incorporate them into the functional roadmap and will drive a major change or enhancement for customer experience influencing category needs based on their knowledge of competitive trends in the marketplace and other macro-environment data.

Responsibilities :
- Building selection and Vendors : Will be responsible for determining customer market needs, growing selection across sub-categories, brands, and use cases, managing vendor partners, negotiating and optimizing vendor terms, and getting support for marketing campaigns.
- Pricing and Demand generation : Responsible for pricing and demand generation. This includes working with other members on the vendor management team as well as with our member acquisition team, marketing, and product management team to come up with innovative online and offline promotions and site features to improve customer experience.
- Channel Management : To work closely with our online and offline partners and customers to ensure that we are keenly listening to the voice of the customer and delighting them through selection, pricing, and product features.
- Business planning and communication to senior management : Develop a short-term and long-term plan for growth and report to Senior Management on a regular basis on the state of key top-line and bottom-line metrics and risk factors.
- Innovation : Invent and drive continuous process improvement and automation across our systems to allow us to scale a fast-growing business. This will include liaising with the global community to drive innovation and share best practices.
BASIC QUALIFICATION :
- 2-4+ years of experience
- Experience in category management or related field preferred
- Experience with a retailer - online or offline preferred but not necessary
- High attention to detail, comfortable with - hands-on- management of tasks, and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated data-driven decision-making or quantitative analysis skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- MBA from a reputed institute
- Experience working on private brands purely in IT
- Experience in IT Sales (Online / Offline)
- Proficient in Excel and SQL
