Digital Sales Role - FM Radio (3-5 yrs)
About the Function :
ENIL operates FM channels across 32 locations in India under the brand name Radio Mirchi. ENIL is venturing into the digital space in a big way to build online reach and to create revenue opportunities that can be offered to clients. It wants to extend its leadership from the Radio platform to the digital platforms too.
Digital is increasingly becoming the focus of ENIL for the following reasons
- Lines between media platforms are blurring. Consumers want to access the same content across devices and platforms, so Radio Mirchi wants to offer them product choices across all possible platforms
- Consumers are increasingly spending more of their time on the Digital platforms, and thus Radio Mirchi is wants to increase its presence across all such platforms
- Digital is the fastest growing advertising category, and Radio Mirchi wants to exploit this opportunity
ENIL sees opportunities in both Web and Mobile IVR platforms.
On the web platform, we want to exploit the social media, new proprietary entertainment portals and online radio stations to build reach and offer advertisers an opportunity to engage with their consumers in interesting ways.
On the mobile business, Radio Mirchi is partnering with Brands and creating content solutions that help them engage with their consumer, and which leverages the penetration of the mobile phones to deliver the right TG for the brands.
Primary Responsibility of the role :
1. Revenue Generation for the Digital function through offering multi-platform client solutions
2. Conceptualizing and strategizing Digital pitches based on client briefs
3. Ensuring successful execution of the client campaign
4. Tracking and reporting of the campaign at the end of the activity
5. Prospecting new clients, and identifying new sales opportunities
6. Keeping track of competition and new trends in the Digital domain
Skills Required :
1. Creative thinking to translate brand briefs into media solutions
2. Experienced Sales professional
3. Effective sales skills - prospecting, pipeline management, closing, negotiation
4. Proven history of consistently exceeding goals, award recognition, etc
5. Digitally literate
6. Savvy with and natural inclinations towards technology
7. Active on social media in a personal capacity
8. Effective communications skills - presentational, face to face and written
9. Ability to work with people across functions and seniority, and to be able to build relationships to get things done
10. Outstanding computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word
11. Self-Driven and motivated
