Position Title Digital Marketing Manager India
Reports to Head of Marketing
Position Summary & Key Objectives :
The Digital Marketing Manager will work closely with the brand marketing and creative teams as well as the retail ecommerce team in India, to devise and implement an online marketing plan for India that boosts customer acquisition, retention, referrals and revenue across all digital platform including online website and marketplaces.
- The role is fully responsible for the India performance and organic marketing programs and guides multiple agencies in this effort
- Manage a marketing plan, promotion calendar and campaign mix that considers a strong sales orientation as well as the brand objectives
- Help to attract new customers and engage with existing customers and partners via our email marketing channel (ESP / CRM) and other programs
Objectives - Develop and drive online marketing and multi-channel plans across appropriate channels and media, including email, display, paid search, programmatic, affiliate, on-site, social and mobile marketing
- Create strong social media strategy to further our presence and brand equity
- Drive growth across customer acquisition, retention, referrals and revenue through rapid experimentation, measurement and optimization
- Define, implement and manage online marketing campaigns and initiatives to strive for increased sales volume and Return on Investment. Continuously analyze performance of online initiatives and define strategies to improve awareness, reach and web traffic
- Oversee improvements to ESP/CRM toolset, including increasing data collection sources, optimizing collection processes, and managing projects between web developers and solution providers to implement the improvements
- Ensure timely availability and accuracy of information and data necessary for creating marketing and multi-channel plans
- Coordinate with the brand international and align with the company's social media guidelines
- Initiate market research analysis to understand the digital consumer trends as well best practices in achieving excellent customer experience within each marketing channels
- Define and manage the annual online marketing budget including creation and analysis of performance metrics within the region and across channels
- Partner and establish effective working relationship with outside agencies (such as search engines, performance agencies, development teams) to steadily increase and optimize transactional traffic
- Work closely with the internal teams to align campaigns with the complementing objectives of the various groups
- Liaise with the international marketing team to leverage the learnings and tools from other regions
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to transfer creative assets and tools into the e-commerce environment and ensure that execution is aligned with the brand guidelines.
- Develop and execute creative ways to attract new customers and engage existing customers to achieve excellent customer experience.
- Stay abreast of digital marketing trends and technologies and support International -Commerce team to leverage best practices.
Qualification & Functional Competencies (5)
Education
- Post Graduate Degree in Management or equivalent in Digital Marketing
Experience
- 8-10 years of overall experience and 2-3 years- experience in the ecommerce context
- Experience setting up and managing online marketing campaigns across channels is a must
- Agency experience with multiple clients or experience in online marketing with ecommerce companies strongly preferred
Capabilities
- Experience in an online marketing environment with proven skills in: paid search, on-site SEO, email, affiliate, display and contextual marketing
- Understanding of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Omniture, etc)
- Innovative with strong leadership skills, team oriented and effective communication style
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand and react positively to KPI- s
- Deep knowledge of the interactive and digital space and trends in the business
- Keen interest in fashion and developing online customer-centric experiences
- General awareness and knowledge of the sportswear and lifestyle product categories
Fluent in English
