MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
- As the consumer of today changes in nature both in media consumption & shopping habits, we are calling out the need for a specific anchor for the future facing businesses of skin cleansing, as well as for someone to lead the digital media & ecommerce thought leadership for the category.
- This role is envisaged as a combination of a business & capability role, wherein the person would directly handle a set of brands/formats in terms of business ownership, and also drive the understanding & implementation of best practices in digital media & ecommerce for the entire skin cleansing category.
JOB SUMMARY (JOB DESCRIPTION)
- Anchoring business for future formats in skin cleansing (Liquid BW & HW) & driving performance through specific focus on digital media & new channels esp ecommerce.
- This will be a key business responsibility and would include managing the P&L, media deployment, pricing/promotions management, market shares & other consumer facing metrics for the allocated portfolio of brands.
- Anchoring new business model launches in skin cleansing (global brand rollouts through new ecom/digital facing business models)
- Leading the agenda for skin cleansing portfolio presence & performance on ecommerce across brands. Work as internal thought leader for skin cleansing in ecommerce
- Leading the agenda for skin cleansing brands on digital media. Serving as the SPOC for media planning & performance monitoring of digital media spends for the category apart from portfolio being anchored by the role.
- Ensuring Skin Cleansing compliance on Digital 2.0 metrics and driving the relevant metrics to in turn fuel business performance for the category.
- Serve as the in-house expert/consultant for digital media & ecommerce best practices & experimentation, for all skin cleansing brand teams (Execution to be led by respective brand teams)
KEY REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS) :
- Excellent exposure & experience of handling ecommerce and/or digital media led businesses.
- Business experience preferred - past experience of managing brands/portfolio of brands with direct ownership of business performance & media planning
- Deep understanding of the digital media landscape and direct experience of driving experimentation/best practices in digital media planning, deployment & impact measurement.
- Deep understanding of the ecommerce landscape and direct experience of driving experimentation/best practices in ecommerce channels across key priority ecom platforms.
- CPG experience preferred.
