Digital Health News - Editor In Chief (10-15 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the creation, production, and publication of high-quality news articles, reports, and multimedia content.
- Define and uphold editorial policies, style guidelines, and publishing standards.
- Review, edit, and approve all content before publication, ensuring accuracy, depth, and journalistic integrity.
- Develop and manage the editorial calendar, ensuring a steady stream of timely and impactful content.
- Identify trending industry topics, breaking news, and exclusive stories to drive engagement.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective content marketing and promotional strategies.
- Build and maintain a strong network within the healthcare, technology, and startup ecosystem.
- Engage with industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to bring exclusive insights and expert opinions.
- Represent DHN at industry events, panel discussions, and conferences to strengthen the publication's credibility.
- Ensure all content complies with legal, ethical, and journalistic standards.
- Maintain a consistent voice and authoritative editorial tone for the publication.
- Oversee fact-checking, sourcing, and editorial best practices to prevent misinformation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Editor-in-Chief, Senior Editor, or equivalent leadership role in a reputed media organization.
- Strong background in digital publishing, healthcare journalism, or technology media.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex healthcare topics.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and team management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of HealthTech, Digital Health, Health IT, and the startup ecosystem.
- Good understanding of media law, ethical journalism, and compliance regulations.
- A well-established network within the healthcare industry and government agencies.
- Ability to drive innovation, implement new editorial strategies, and experiment with content formats.
