Experience - 6 -8 years of progressive experience in editing and content development

EDUCATION: Early years education from a reputed college/university (ECCE)

- BA/MA in English

JOB SUMMARY:

This is a critical position in Ed-Tech space in Early years Learning. The role of the Editor will entail:

- Understanding the pedagogical structure of the program

- Reviewing, editing, copyediting of content

- Assist in competition analysis and vertical-horizontal plan

- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders

OUTCOMES:

- Smooth functioning of the process of developing a gamified digital content based on pre-designed curriculum for Early years learning (0 - 8 years) and finally, ensuring timely delivery.

- Major:

Product Planning, strategy and content management:

- Assist in developing the digital content plan for early years learning (0 - 8 years)

- Work on the conceptualized ideas to develop digital content

- Contribute towards documents like competition analysis and vertical-horizontal plan

- Conduct research using credible and reliable educational resources to develop content.

- Review written Scripts [Narration, Dialogue form, Question based, Translations etc] based on area of specialization.

- Create age appropriate and creative story boards for digital content without compromising on the accuracy of the subject.

- Check the animated files created based on the Script and Story board written

- To regularly archive the content

- Meeting deadlines for content creation activity as given by Managing Editor.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Process and Quality related Tasks:

- Manage the planning, design, development and implementation of instructional multimedia in collaboration with cross functional divisions and departments

- To follow the editorial processes, guidelines and standards while creating content

- To ensure compliance to local and global editorial standards and curriculum frameworks

- To manage tasks such as seeking illustrations, sourcing photographs

- To maintain quality and accuracy standards of all content

Minor:

- To project, track and control expenses in line with pre-approved budgets

- To think and create marketing samples

Most challenging aspect of the role:

- To deliver quality product within committed timelines
