As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in the success of IBEForuM. You will work within a dedicated consulting team and be managed and mentored by one of our experienced managers. On daily basis you will be proactively generating leads for our unique product portfolio to existing and potential IBEForuM customers over the telephone. You will be using tools and techniques in order to diagnose client needs and match those with our products. Our standards are exceptionally high, and from the moment you join the business, you will receive training and development in order to help you to achieve excellence. Responsibilities:

- Utilize telephone solicitation, electronic and written correspondence and face-to-face meetings as tools in order to reach and exceed the budgeted sponsorship target for each conference

- Research and develop a list of potential sponsors for each conference

- Research and develop a list of potential exhibitors when required

- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential sponsorship clients and exhibitors

- Keep precise records of conversations with all clients, sponsors and exhibitors;

- Update the company Maximiser database as required

- Invoice sponsors and exhibitors once agreements have been reached

- Assist in preparing promotional material to advertise sales opportunities

- Maintain knowledge of conference timelines and sponsorship deadlines

- Delegate administrative functions to assistants where possible

- Meet with trade and professional organizations and other groups to organize, promote and discuss ICS conference/trade show services

- Professionally represent ICS at all times.

Competencies:

- Strong closing abilities

- Strong business development skills

- An open-minded and can-do attitude

- Any experience of SPIN selling would be beneficial

- Good commercial awareness and strong business acumen

- Experience in the conference and exhibition industry will be advantageous but not necessary
