Development Editor - Publishing (5-10 yrs)
Job Purpose :
- The Development editor will work with the team and clients to review, assess, create, and curate a wide variety of high quality subject specific content that will educate, inform, and inspire our prospects and customers.
- The work involves reviewing and assessing author/contributor content in various drafts and ensuring that the content meets publishing plan requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Review, assess, and conduct quality checks of content submitted by authors in various drafts and ensure that the content meets the publishing plan requirements and standard best practices
- Modify and copy edit content to make sure that the consistency and accuracy is maintained
- All aspects of creative and educational content development:
- Create high quality content for online and print media
- Ensure that the content for online media is SEO friendly
- Curate, repackage and/or generate content after an in-depth research
- Keep updated with the trends and developments in the specific content space
- Develop assessments for educational publications
Salary : INR 3,25,000 - 8,25,000 P.A.
