Digital PR and Social Media Specialist
Job responsibilities:
- This person will be responsible for planning, managing and executing social media campaigns, promote company news, events, promotions, and opportunities through appropriate channels and improve industry awareness of the organization.
- Carry out day-to-day activities related to social media. This includes tracking and analysis of social media conversations across various platforms, maintenance of the company's brand on social media sites and reputation management. Formulate the long term and short term organizational brand management. This also includes the execution of the content marketing strategy for the brand.
- Manage media queries, develop and maintain media relations, drive internal communication.
- Execute digital PR activities and campaigns on a daily basis, writing press releases and contributory articles, etc. Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with relevant publishers, journalists, bloggers, and industry experts. Plan and execute multiple types of PR tactics - including creative content brainstorming, etc. increasing organic content and organization awareness.
- Support (SEO) content management - To Increase Company's brand reach and visibility.
- Monitoring trends, new developments and industry benchmarks in the digital PR space including social media tools, apps, channels, design, and strategy.
- Stay current and forward thinking on new tools and platforms, best practices and use within the competitive landscape. Also Responsible for gathering and analyzing key market information, as well as identifying areas for improvement to increase company revenue and brand.
Candidate Profile:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in handling content marketing and communication challenges.
- Should have a fair understanding of brand management, social media engagement, etc
- Reasonable knowledge of SEO.
- Ability to think critically.
- Communicate effectively with other departments within the organization and function within a team environment
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of social media including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube and Instagram
Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Digital PR and Social Media Marketing
Education Qualification:
- Graduate (Communications, Marketing, PR )
