Deputy Sales Manager - Retail - South (6-12 yrs)

DEPARTMENT : Operations ( SOR)
JOB TITLE : Female Deputy Sales Mgr-South (LFS)
1. Reporting
This position will report to DGM Operations (OR) & Manager - Operations (Retail).
Deputy Sales Manager-South will be responsible for a geographic area defined as a Region (several small areas) and the Assistant Regional Manager (equivalent to Area manager) could be currently responsible for a limited area or part of a region as defined by the management
2. Role
- Implementing the sales and distribution strategy for the responsible SORs
- Creating the annual sales and distribution plan for SORs to deliver the corporate objectives
- Preparing the sales plans / forecasts - annual / monthly, on time
- Monitor the sales targets, track low performing stores and initiate action plans to improve the performance
- Identify and finalise stores for network expansion, create a clear expansion plan in line with projection the SOR business
- Managing replenishment for distributors, and to SOR stores
- Finalise collection targets, monitor and initiate action plans to align with the targets
- Manage and guide the Sales Executive/s & Supervisor/s in the team including the preparation and monitoring of the Permanent Journey plan for the month
- Generating management information on time
- Generating reports related to Daily/ weekly/monthly plans and achievements, Forecasts, Outstanding status, market information etc
- Minimise sales returns thro proper forecasts and effective distritution
- Improve sell through per store as per sell targets
- Prepare the profitability plans for individual stores and monitor the same
- Implement base stock and replenishment cycle for SORs and follow up with merchandising team for replenishment
- Monitor brand visibility at Key outlets and SORs through location of the brand, visual merchandising standards
- Ensure availability of Consultants across all stores in the region
- Monitor induction for Consultants and facilitate training and motivation of Consultants
- Establishing and maintaining good rapport with distributor/s and SOR team
- Provide inputs to marketing team for devising dealer promos and driving implementation of the same
- Monitor and track all competitor activities and provide information and proposed tactical action plans when necessary.
