Deputy Sales Manager - Modern Trade/Channel Sales - Startup (6-10 yrs)
JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve sales ad collection targets set by the company
- Identify key channel partners and on boarding them
- Identify Corporate business Opportunities and ensure follow and deal closure
- Implement a strategic business plan that expands company's customer base and ensure its strong presence
- Responsible for Identification, tracking and monitoring of competition activity and provide insights to product development team
- Ensure that the Sales return and warranty claim process is smooth.
- Present Daily or Weekly or Monthly Sales Reports
- Lead generation and follow up and closure
- Maintain Dealer and Distributer Network
- Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of Channel partner Sales team
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
Key Skills :
- Experienced professional Channel Sales and Corporate Sales experience.
- Managing, training and development of Sales Team- Has adequate experience rolling out Offline BTL Marketing programs
- Self-motivated individual with initiative up his sleeves.
- One averse to micro management.
- Candidate who can handle pressure and passion in sales.
- Exposure to Modern Trade channel(Reliance Retail, Big Bazaar, Croma etc)handling would be an added advantage
Desired Education details: MBA. (Sales and Marketing)Required Experience: 5+ yrs.
