Job Designation : Deputy Manager Project Sales

Job description :

Roles and Responsibilities (Along with Skills Required) :

- Building and managing new business areas in Hydro Power, Power Transmission and Distribution, Thermal Power, Chemical Plants, Sugar Plants, Oil & Gas & Steel etc.

- Business Development and retaining old project clients.

- Increasing the revenues from the target clients given by the management with all operations & pricing activities.

- Handling Project Logistics RFQs with the good understanding of Project Logistics and Always ready to take new challenges.

- Respond to inquiries by clients.

- Prepare quotations through Sales support and send to clients.

- Follow up on quotations and close business, if lost revert with reasons

- On receiving confirmed business hand over to customer service

- Coordinate through Customer service with operations for container placing / container releases etc.

- Monitor timely Delivery of invoices to clients if any disputes, update credit control.

- Collect dues and outstanding amounts from clients in allotted credit limit.

- Meet GP & Volume targets.

- Timely submission of reports set by the management as per the deadline.

- Provide MIS information on Market & Competitor activity to Management.

- Ensure Credit customers are wetted out through the with Credit approval process.

- The candidate should possess good communication, Analytical, negotiation and presentation skills.

- Should be an aggressive go-getter with high energy levels and must have an inherent hunger for sales

- In depth knowledge of Project Logistics, Break Bulk, OOG, Heavy Lift, Business Development.

- Must have the ability to create, develop and sustain relationships at the levels at prospective client companies.

- The candidate should possess good networking skills to identify business opportunities, participating in industry events/conclave/exhibitions etc.
