Deputy General Manager - Sales - Transportation (11-15 yrs)
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Develop local sales strategy for South India
- Assist in recruitment and training right sales personnel at various South India locations
- Establish overall sales budgets for individual sales personnel and South India
- Align pricing strategy with procurement to ensure revenue and profitability
- Implement SOP / KPI as per company policies
- Perform own sales activities on large / medium customers and meet own individual sales Budget
- Risk analysis and decision on investments on key customers
- Monthly MIS to Management
Qualification :
- Experience in Freight Forwarding Industry.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in Field Sales, Business Development, and Key Account Management.
- Knowledge of shipping, freight forwarding, logistics and supply chains.
- Ability to frame Sales Plan.
- Proven sales success at teams & organizations you've worked at.
- Background, predominately in business development.
- Experience working within a high-growth multi-cultural environment
- Leadership and social skills with ability to set goals, motivate people, appreciate efforts,
- Manage different personalities, build and develop a robust sales team across South India.
