Position Title: Deputy General Manager - Sales
Experience - 12+ years (Experience in FMCG sales is mandate)
Qualification : Graduate ( MBA Preferred)
Job Location - Mumbai
Reporting to: Director
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Identify selling strategies and opportunities to increase revenue.
2. Prepare and achieve sales budget vertical wise for the zone.
3. Evaluate current sales processes and recommend improvements.
4. Develop new sales techniques for business growth and profitability.
5. Oversee sales and marketing activities to achieve corporate revenue goals.
6. Define pricing strategy and profit monitoring.
7. Builds relations with key customers and channel partners across verticals.
8. To setup and control the distribution network at PAN India level
9. To prepare month MIS, Reports and present it to Board
10. Tracking competitor activities and developing strategies to counter the same.
11. Compliance with company policies and procedures within zones.
12. Organization development - Manpower planning, recruitment and training.
13. Motivation and performance monitoring of sales team and back end office staff & Distributors.
14. Subordinate development - Guide and monitor the performance of individual.
15. Team Building - Build synergy between the sales team.
16. Plan and assign daily workload to sales team.
17. Evaluate performance of sales team and provide appropriate feedback.
18. Provide guidance to sales representatives in their assigned duties.
19. Respond to escalated customer complaints in a timely manner.
20. Understand customer needs and suggest changes in products to meet these needs.
21. Address customer inquiries about products and services offered.
22. Identify potential customers and build strong relationship with existing customers.
23. Provide excellent services and ensure customer satisfaction to build business.
24. Represent company brand in sales conferences and trade shows.
25. Assist customers in selecting the right products based on their needs and specifications.
26. Identifying and developing new streams for long term revenue growth and maintaining relationships with customers to achieve repeat/ referral business
