Qualification:
Essential:
Engineer (preferably Biotech/Chemical) OR Graduate (in Life Sciences/ Bio-Chemistry) + MBA From a Premier School/ University
Desirable: Consistent Education
Experience (Yrs): 8- 15 years experience in all and minimum of 3 years at Middle management level
Essential: Experience in
- Marketing of Consumer products in Foods/ Health foods/ Nutraceuticals/ Herbal Extracts/ FMCG
- Marketing strategy & planning, Product Management, Branding & Advertising, Sales Planning, Product Mix & packing strategies
- Exposure to Online marketing & Social Media management
Preferable : Exposure to Market research
Preferred Sectors : Consumer product Cos. in Foods/ Health foods/ Nutraceuticals/ Herbal Extracts/ FMCG / Ayur Healthcare/ Natural products-based Cosmetics
Preferred Cos : Reputed firms with annual turnover above Rs 100 Cr. from this sector.
- To be the owner of Marketing and Sales Management including Revenue targets.
-Product management including Product Mix, Product variations and packaging strategy/ management from inception stage
- Brand management including development
- Communication & Marketing incl. all Collaterals, marketing through Digital, Websites & Mobile Apps
Products handled : Consumer products in Foods/ Health foods/ Nutraceuticals/ Herbal Extracts/ FMCG / Ayur Healthcare/ Natural products-based Cosmetics/ Formulations
- To own the marketing of new brand of Consumer products in health & wellness space.
- Product Mix, Product variations in Formulation & Packing based on marketability, market research
- Market & Sales Planning for Apollo chain of pharmacies & domestic markets including staffing, channels
- Product Management including Life cycle management with due considerations to changing market, competition & - devise strategies for Business Development
- Sales and revenue planning
- Brand Management including development of a new Brand, its identity, architecture, Handling agency
- Communication including Advertising: Collaterals & ensuring high customer recall thru all media: Websites, email, social media & Apps.
- Being in Project phase, this role requires stretching beyond the contours of standard marketing areas.
Work Week : 6 days
Shift Timings : Day shifts. One may be required to work extended hours, whenever necessary
Technical Skills :
- Extensive Knowledge of consumer products marketing including Foods/ Health Foods/ Nutraceuticals/ Herbal Extractions/Formulations
- Clear understanding of marketing concepts as Profit generator
- Sound understanding of modern marketing tools & media

- Should be creative & clear in thinking
- Should be result oriented, organized and meticulous.
- Should be willing to work hands-on, not only with Mktg team members but also other functions within the Co. and outside vendors
