Job Description :
The job holder is responsible for generating new business from a geographically assigned sales territory across customer segments, by acquiring new customers and retaining existing customers to help Delhivery grow its LTL/PTL Business.
Roles and Responsibilities :
1. Ability to identify customer's LTL/PTL requirements and clearly communicate the product offerings to match their needs.
2. Service a geographical area/client segment to generate leads & sign new customers. Responsible for negotiation & pricing closure.
3. Manage a portfolio of customers and potential customers via personal sales visits, using face to face contact to provide a personal service.
4. Build a strong client relationship to ensure that the account performs and grows to its maximum potential, reducing attrition rate and minimizing opportunities for competitors to gain business.
5. Conversion of qualified leads into customers (First Time Buyers) across Major, Small and Medium Business Accounts and develop and penetrate existing accounts (Retention and Development).
6. Act as the customer's main point of contact, by liaising closely with the relevant departments within Delhivery to ensure that their queries, problems or issues are dealt with appropriately.
7. Monitor the health of accounts, service levels and enhance SOW growth. Prepare and present weekly/monthly reports detailing sales achieved and those predicted against targets.
8. To continually develop knowledge of Delivery's products/services and general commercial awareness to provide the best possible solutions to the customers.
Desired Candidate Profile :
1. Candidate should have worked in the Traditional LTL/PTL Space in organizations like VRL Logistics, V-Trans, Lalji Mulji Transport, Jaipur Golden etc
2. Prior logistics experience is a must, 10+ years work experience in PTL Sales
3. Self-starter, Self-motivated, Agile and prepared to work in a fast paced environment
4. Good communication skills, Excellent interpersonal skills
5. Good presentation skills, Display team working skills
