About Founder
Deconstruct Skincare is founded by an IIT, INSEAD alumni and consumer brands specialist. Malini Adapureddy, has experience working in Kraft Heinz, P&G and Flipkart. She is looking to make information-oriented skincare purchases easier and efficacious.
Role: Content Lead- Skincare
Brand Outreach and Storytelling Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Gather a deep understanding of the target audience across different touchpoints
- Connect and nurture loyal Deconstruct users as a growing brand community
- Build relationships with key influencers - including Deconstruct's own community and identify opportunities to leverage them as advocates and evangelists
- Create opportunities for community interaction and engagement for Deconstruct's users- including online events, webinars, etc
- Develop and execute marketing strategies and creative campaigns for such growth- including but not limited to forums, contests, giveaways, surveys, polls, etc.
- Interpret user data to identify the relevant brand and user stories
- Design creative narratives for storytelling via user-generated as well as curated content
- Paired with a photographer or videographer, gather stories that bring the Deconstruct brand to life and accomplish pre-determined communications goals
- Deliver packaged content and stories for defined marketing tactics
- Guide other content creators to bring about a consistent brand tonality and personality across all content platforms and formats
Required Skill Set :
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A people person knows what makes people tick and have a natural charisma in building relationships
- Understands storytelling and marketing copywriting trends across varied media types
- Long-form content, SEO, and video production experience
- The ability to work autonomously and still be an excellent team player
- Proven ability to own and lead projects, which might also require a bit of team/people management
- Interest in the science of skincare and actives would be an advantage
