Deconstruct - Manager - PR & Partnership (3-6 yrs)
Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced PR & Partnerships Manager to manage and enhance the public image and brand reputation. In this role, you will oversee public relations strategies, media outreach, and influencer partnerships that effectively communicate our brand values and product benefits. You will also identify & nurture relationships with like-minded brands, and other potential partners to create collaborative marketing opportunities. You will drive brand growth. The ideal candidate will be passionate about skincare & will have strong media relationships, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities :
PR Strategy & Execution :
- Develop and implement PR strategies to increase brand awareness, enhance reputation, and support brand campaigns & product launches.
- Oversee the execution of public relations campaigns, including media outreach, influencer partnerships, and events.
- Ensure alignment of PR activities with the overall brand and marketing strategy.
Partnership Strategy Development :
- Develop a comprehensive partnership strategy that aligns with the brand's overall business objectives and growth targets
- Identify and assess potential partnership opportunities with brands, influencers, retailers, and other industry players
- Build a roadmap for partnership initiatives, including product collaborations, co-branded campaigns, and retail opportunities
- Negotiate partnership agreements, ensuring that terms and conditions are favorable for both parties.
- Track and measure the success of partnership initiatives using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, sales impact, and brand exposure.
Media Relations :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, including beauty editors, journalists, and bloggers in the skincare and wellness industry.
- Proactively pitch story ideas and product features to media outlets, securing coverage in print, online, and broadcast channels.
- Act as the company's spokesperson, ensuring consistent messaging and brand representation in all media interactions.
Influencer & Celebrity Partnerships :
- Identify, build, and manage relationships with influencers, celebrities, and brand ambassadors to promote skincare products
- Develop influencer marketing campaigns that align with brand values and resonate with target audiences
- Monitor and evaluate influencer activities to ensure maximum impact and ROI.
Press Materials & Content Development :
- Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials that reflect the brand's voice and product benefits.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product development, marketing, etc.) to ensure accurate and compelling storytelling in PR content.
- Manage crisis communication strategies when necessary to maintain brand reputation.
Event Planning & Management :
- Plan and coordinate PR events, product launches, press conferences, and brand experiences.
- Collaborate with event management teams and vendors to ensure flawless execution of public events and media engagements.
- Track event performance and media coverage to gauge the success of PR activities.
Monitoring & Reporting :
- Monitor media coverage and compile regular reports on PR campaign effectiveness, brand mentions, and sentiment.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for enhanced media presence.
- Analyse PR metrics and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results and improve the brand's image.
Key Requirements :
- Bachelor's/ master's degree in public relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 3+ years of PR & partnership management experience, preferably in the beauty, skincare, or wellness industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strong media relations and existing contacts with beauty and skincare journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful PR & partnership campaigns
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling press materials and pitches
- Experience managing influencer marketing campaigns and partnerships
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of social media trends, influencer marketing, and digital PR strategies
