Job Description:
As a Marketing manager, you shall play a fundamental role in driving business growth & the brand. The objective of the role is to promote business, product, and service. You need to make sure that the company is communicating the right message to attract prospective clients, retain existing ones, and fueling the talent pipeline.
- As a Marketing manager, you shall plan and oversee a broad range of activities, including product launches, advertising, email campaigns, events, and Digital activation. You need to know how to build programs and campaigns, collaborate with teams such as product and sales, and report on marketing metrics.
- You need a deep understanding of the addressable market, target audience, and how the product or service you are promoting helps solve customers' pain points. Conducting market research and creating buyer personas are both essential parts of the role for determining how to best engage and empathize with customers.
Marketing Manager's responsibilities :
1. Implementing strategy - a strategic plan for how the organization will achieve and maintain a competitive advantage in the market.
2. Creating programs and campaigns - build breakthrough programs and campaigns making sure creative and content are aligned with the company's strategic objectives with primary focus on Digital Platforms. Come up with ideas for future programs and campaigns. Develop and execute the marketing calendar.
3. Overseeing content -Put together an editorial calendar that supports the company's goals. Review each piece of content to ensure that it conveys the right message and tone, write blog posts, manage external and internal communications, edit ad copy, craft marketing collateral materials, work to improve SEO rankings by writing meta descriptions.
4. Planning events -Plan and produce events that can range from product launches and conferences to webinars.
5. Handling external communications -build relationships with the media in order to promote the company's message. Engage with people outside the company, such as vendors, partners, or advertising agencies.
6. Managing marketing project, budgets - managing marketing projects, and budgets for campaigns and tools.
7. Coordinating cross-functional teams -keep everyone informed of the marketing plans and are the go-to people for any internal marketing-related questions or requests.
8. Supporting sales -Help and support the sales process. Develop strategies that drive customers to the website.Create paid campaigns on social media platforms. Maintain consistent brand messaging throughout all platforms. Create email blast campaigns to target key customers. Use advanced metrics to measure the success of a marketing campaign. Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns. Keep up to date on the latest social media trends. Utilize the strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
9. Analyzing marketing data - Track, analyze, and report on the impact of all marketing activities. Look for ways to improve efforts and better engage with prospective customers. Evaluate competitors and compile and share industry trends. Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate. Monitoring market trends, and studying competitors' products and services.
10. Technology skills- Must be up-to-date with the latest technology, tools, and marketing platforms. Proficient in Digital Marketing.
