DDB Mudra Group - Media Planner (2-3 yrs)
Arrive at actionable solutions using secondary data analysis (BARC /IRS /RAM /TAM /TGI /OMD tools etc) and by drawing upon media planning experience.
- To provide mid-campaign evaluation and take corrective action as required ensuring that campaign deliverables are met.
- Undertake research and analyze data using specialist industry resources
- Ensure that approved contract deliverables are created and sent as per the engagement calendar.
- Proofreading advertisement content before release.
- Recommend the most appropriate types of media to use, as well as the most effective time spans and locations.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns in order to inform future campaigns.
- Commercial flair.
- Good interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, for liaising with colleagues,clients and media owners.
- Strong media software expertise - BARC/YUMI, IRS, MAP, TGI, Comscore, RAM etc.
- Attention to detail: ability to spot trends and provide compelling insights through data analysis.
- Strong functional media knowledge with ability to consider media issues from a media-owner perspective; being updated with broad media trends.
- Ability to interact with people from a wide cross-section to get pertinent information.
- Media experience with a mix of media planning/buying/research or channel strategy /insights experience.
- Have an analytical mind with an aptitude for statistics and math.
- Address all day-to-day ad hoc queries from the client.
- Provide quality analysis with action points for category competitive reports for clients.
- To alert client timely if there is likely to be a campaign delivery shortfall and take course corrective action in alignment with client.
- Collaborate with clients and the account team to understand the clients business objectives and media strategy
