Role : Account Executive (AE)
Role Overview:
- As an Account Executive you will focus on closing deals in the US market.
- The AE will work closely with the Trading Desk Business Head and VP of Sales based in the US.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing the full sales cycle, excellent communication skills, and a keen understanding of US adtech sales practices.
- In this role you will be Datawrkz ambassador in the market for the agency relationships that you own and will be responsible for shaping up a long-term business plan for the agency to make Datawrkz as the preferred digital media partner
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Focus: Drive consistent revenue growth by meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets, with a focus on building a strong and sustainable pipeline of mid-sized deals in the US market.
- Sales Pipeline: You will be expected to drive strategic and tactical initiatives to maintain a healthy sales pipeline on a regular basis; be proactive in highlighting any roadblocks and maintain high standards in following internal processes.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain lasting relationships with leads and partners by understanding their business focus and anticipating their needs.
- Lead Management: Manage and nurture leads generated by BDR team and marketing efforts.
- Sales Cycle Ownership: Take ownership of the sales process from prospecting to deal closure.
- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with prospective clients across different time zones, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM (ZOHO), ensuring transparency and efficiency in the sales pipeline.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Business & Sales heads, BDR team and marketing team to align strategies and ensure a seamless client experience.
- AdTech Ecosystem: You will be expected to understand the digital ecosystem, be abreast with industry analytics and be on top of industry trends.
- Ability to leverage relationships, build a strong network, and be able to effectively negotiate deals.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in AdTech or SaaS, with a focus on the US market.
- Skills: Strong negotiation and closing skills, with experience managing mid to large sized deals.
- Tools: Familiarity with ZOHO CRM or similar platforms; proficiency in virtual communication tools (Zoom, Teams).
- Time Management: Ability to work US hours partially or fully to align with client schedules.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Attributes: Highly motivated, self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
