- Leading, managing, handling and administrating the Sales function of the Company along with defining, devising and implementing robust sales, sales management, and credit management policy.
- Developing and creating product and service level offerings to the target customer groups and taking responsibility for the sales performance against targets.
- Identifying and nurturing suitable clients from General Trade, Modern Trade, assessing client credentials, relationship management along with building, managing, monitoring and handling the respective client accounts.
- Acquisition of new customer accounts and exploring new sales channels for top-line growth by developing field sales action plans
- Achieving overall volume and value objectives of the assigned territory driving, handling & monitoring the entire sales exercise for the given area/ zone within budget, time and policy parameters
- Leading demand generation activities while working closely with the marketing team
- Developing and maintaining the customer database in line with the specified Information Quality standards
- Ensuring optimal distribution and logistics cost by reviewing and monitoring Routing & Scheduling
- Generating sales and market intelligence reports regularly
- Controlling, regularizing, administrating and managing the credit function of the organization
- Developing the existing sales force to take on managerial and leadership responsibilities
- Achieve assigned sales targets
- Meet and develop important customers and members of the trade channel
- Develop consultants to create a network for sales
- Develop proper feedback/monitoring systems with the sales staff
- Responsible for launching new products and brand building
- Continuous tracking and analysis of competitor activities
- Active participation in Aquaculture exhibitions, stall designing & technical conference
