Summary
We are looking for a hands-on National Business Development Manager to lead our Business Development team. This professional will be primarily responsible for Key Account Management, Sales & Business Development, Team handling, and training. The individual should be open to working from office, working remotely, and be open to travel pan India. He/she should have experience in selling B2B office supplies (such as stationery, housekeeping, etc.) / gifting / IT peripheral / office automation products, etc. This individual should also have relationships with large Corporate firms pan India & have done substantial business with them in the past.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of end to end key account management
- Lead the new account development process
- Train and coach regional teams
- Take ownership of RFQs, bids, and tenders
- Collaborate with operations and support teams where required to deliver excellent service to clients through Supplier Co-ordination and Order Execution on time
- Work in tandem with management on strategic initiatives
- Drive process improvement efforts to streamline business development activities
- Co-ordinate the creation of collaterals and presentations for BD activities
- Identify areas of opportunity, improvement, or further analysis that will have a direct impact on the company's P&L
Requirements
- Located in Bengaluru, India
- 8+ years of experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Highly independent, self-motivated, objective thinker
- Strong organizational and stress management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
- Ability to train and manage teams
- Ability to work with little to no supervision
- Maintain a team-oriented can-do attitude, respond timely to impromptu requests, and participate in special projects at the direction of management
- Have experience in hiring business development executives
