Role Overview:
As a Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless after-sales service for our customers. You will be the primary point of contact for customers who have purchased batteries and/or UPS systems, coordinating between the customer, manufacturer, and field service engineers. The role demands excellent communication, analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to ensure a superior customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Support & Coordination:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers regarding service-related queries.
- Ensure timely communication between customers, manufacturers, and field service engineers.
- Maintain service records and follow up on pending tasks to ensure closure.
Issue Resolution & Escalation Management :
- Handle customer complaints and escalations promptly and professionally.
- Analyze issues and determine appropriate solutions based on urgency and criticality.
- Ensure customers are updated on progress and resolution timelines.
Work Assignment & Prioritization:
- Assign tasks to field service engineers based on priority, criticality, and availability.
- Monitor service schedules and ensure adherence to SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
Customer-Centric Approach:
- Always put the customer first by striving to deliver excellent service experiences.
- Provide proactive updates and ensure customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze service performance metrics to identify areas of improvement.
- Prepare reports on service operations for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education : A degree or diploma in any discipline. Background in technical or service industries is an advantage.
Experience : 1-3 years in a customer service or coordination role, preferably in the battery, UPS, or related industries.
