Responsibilities
- Answer and Process technical assistance telephone calls from Customers.
- Answer product questions and service accounts professionally and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
- Educate customers on our products and work with them to find acceptable solutions to any and all issues
- Make educated customer recommendations on data plan options while providing world-class customer service
- Assist customers with technical issues by phone, chat or email
- Be tactful and have the ability to handle challenging situations calmly
- Efficiently manage multiple computer applications while handling customer calls
- A desire for technology and how it operates
- Efficient understanding of technology including laptop, desktop, hardware, data storage, operating systems, applications, peripheral devices
- Personal ownership of wireless broadband devices and the complete understanding of their workings including home networking
- Prior experience in a customer service, technical support, help desk position
- Ability to systematically resolve any technical issue and analyze the issue for a complete resolution
- Complete understanding of benefits of various products and ability to discuss with new customers
- Excitement in providing outstanding customer service through technology resolution
- Deliver exceptional Customer Service and ensure high customer satisfaction
- Approaches each call with a can-do mindset and treats each customer with respect, courtesy, and a genuine desire to help.
- Ability to respond professionally, accurately, and quickly
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills which includes strong typing skills required
- Ability to multi-task and organizational skills a must
- 1-2 years previous call center customer service experience required
- Previous high tech sales or customer service experience a plus
- Understanding of technical trouble shooting operating system based products and applications
- Previous experience in technical trouble shooting is a plus
- Strong computer skills required.
- Strong, robust and proven communication skills (written and oral) in English and Hindi. Depending on customer and call, agent may also use Bengali, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telegu
- Manages change through effective communication and support of change
- Dynamite personality who enjoys solving technical issues to the satisfaction of the customer
Education Requirement
Diploma, B.Tech, BCA, MCA required
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Individual will be required to stand and walk or otherwise traverse in order to be accessible to the production floor for extended periods of time. The person in this position will be required to regularly exert at least 10 lbs. of force to push, pull or otherwise move objects and may be required to carry or lift objects up to 50 lbs.

The person in this position may need to occasionally sit, type, climb stairs, bend, reach, kneel, or twist for minimal periods of time. Employees should not attempt to lift, pull or push a load in excess of 50 lbs. without assistance. Care should always be taken when lifting, pushing or pulling in an awkward position.
