Curriculum Designer - Course Content Writing - K12 Education (2-8 yrs)
Curriculum Designer will be responsible for building the curriculum and lesson content for STEM - Coding. The incumbent will be engaged in developing creative learning content and lesson plans for the subjects.
Key Requisites:
- Researching on syllabi for Applied Sciences, Coding and Robotics (STEM) To develop Hands-on activities experiments which imbibe learning by doing, DIY and maker culture covering the STEM domains
- To work on creative content writing and lessons designing using Hands-on learning aids
- To have an in-depth understanding of both traditional and modern teaching/learning pedagogy
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Designing curriculum for the subject
- Creation of Learning Objectives and syllabus framework
Lesson creation:
- Lesson content for the Science & Technology vertical
- Reviewing lessons created by interns, freelancers, vendors etc
- Ensuring a smoother production flow
Internal stakeholder management:
- Coordinating with the creative and media team for ensuring more visually appealing lessons
External Stakeholder Management:
- Ensuring quality content output from vendors and freelance content creators
- Keeping a track of their timelines and output on a regular basis and other responsibilities that come up from time to time
Key Performance Indicators
- Creation of lessons by self, team and the external stakeholders
- Quality of lessons in terms of creativity, innovative pedagogy and gamification
- Project completion as per set timelines, volume and efficiency
- Constant support to the team
- Self-driven initiatives taken towards organizational development
Skills required:
- STEM expertise
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Creative writing
- Experience of working with or for k12 education
- Eye for child-friendly design and communication
- Have both left and right brain abilities
Salary - CTC - 5-7 LPA respectively.
