Cuemath - Director - Sales (6-10 yrs)
About the Role :
- This is a leadership role in the sales function. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of B2C sales and experience of leading sales teams.
- The core responsibility for this role is to lead an inside sales team and manage sales operations of a given geographical market.
Skills & Experience :
- Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company's sales goals.
- Drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required. Ensure process and system compliance.
- Create a culture of performance, goal achievement, customer empathy and consultative selling.
- Hire, develop and train a sales team.
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activities. Identify emerging trends and customer segments. Keep the leadership team and other company functions updated on trends and opportunities in the markets served.
- Manage the sales teams, day-to-day sales operations, and team to deliver robust growth.
- Set annual, quarterly, and monthly sales and s goals and achieve them. Provide detailed forecasts and reports as needed.
Job Responsibilities :
- 6-10 years of experience in B2C/ Direct/ Inside sales with 1-2 years of experience in selling to international customers.
- Minimum 3 years of team leadership experience in sales
- Outstanding sales success records in the past.
- Good understanding of input and output metrics and experience in driving them.
- Ability to inspire and persuasively communicate ideas, overcome obstacles and lead people.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and proven experience to make an immediate impact.
- History of achieving revenue growth in complex business environments through a focus on developing and communicating the plan, addressing issues that hinder performance, and implementing best practices.
- A self-starter and self-motivated individual with the ability to effectively manage diverse projects, multitask, and provide consistent results.
- Strong Communication &Presentation skills (Written and Verbal)
Qualifications and Experience Required :
Minimum Qualification : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience (in years) : Minimum 6-10 years of Inside Sales Experience - Leadership Experience
