Cuemath - Academic Counsellor (0-3 yrs)
Role Summary :
- We're looking for customer-centric Academic Counsellors who are excited by the challenges of a fast-paced business environment.
- As an Academic Counsellor, you will be the first individual from the Cuemath family a prospective customer (in our organization the parent of a school-going child) interacts with and that first interaction will set the stage for what's to come. We are a learner-centric organization, so naturally, we hold all Cuemathians up to a high standard of customer-centricity.
- Your professionalism and English communication skills must be impeccable. Keen listening skills and the ability to synthesize and clearly articulate the needs of parents and learners are also key skills for this role.

- You will be responsible for speaking with the parents of prospective K-12 learners, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth process from lead to enrolment. Other daily responsibilities include lead nurturing, maintaining CRM hygiene, and working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Making calls, consulting prospects, engaging, following up, and providing value to customers is all in a day's work for an Academic Counsellor. We expect you to build long-term relationships with prospective customers and go the extra mile to delight customers.
Skills & Experience :
a) Preferably should be having prior experience and confidence in over-the-phone sales, in high ticket products/services (>1 year experience in inside sales)
b) Mature and disciplined approach to work with an approachable and vibrant personality
c) Demonstrated customer-centricity with a focus on understanding customers- core needs and effectively aligning product offerings with the same
d) Excellent written and spoken communication skills (English proficiency) with strong comprehension and articulation skills (additional regional language proficiency is a plus for India)
e) Must be a collaborator with the ability to work independently with minimal oversight, prioritize tasks, and meet targets/deadlines
f) Basic proficiency in CRM management and handling spreadsheets
g) Understanding of US & Canada/ UK & European/ APAC customer preferences/ understanding customer preferences of premium segment in India
Job Responsibilities :
a) Consulting prospective customers & converting them to paid customers for Cuemath's premium and personalized K-12 Math learning program through a need-based and personalized selling approach
b) Understanding the core learning needs of students through their parents and aligning the offerings of the program to the same through phone, email, and text
c) Handling customer objections in a consultative manner to close sales
d) Identifying and generating references through the existing customer base to increase the sales pipeline
e) Adhering to the defined inside sales process, tools, and data management logic to ensure a high number of enrolments with minimum churn for the assigned set of prospects
f) Onboarding the learner after closing a sale and maintaining the relationship between Cuemath and the customer
g) Coordinating and resolving queries of customers & teacher partners
h) Highlighting issues through parent feedback and helping with effective resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
i) Meeting and overachieving the given weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets in terms of revenue as well as the number of enrolments
