The Opportunity :

Objectives aligned to this role :
Businessnext is looking to hire a Corporate Communications & Public Relations Associate to help shape the external communication narrative for the company. The ideal candidate will be a great writer and strong communicator, with experience in both the corporate and agency side of PR. A prior stint handling external communications for a startup, will be a definite plus.
What would you do?
- Establish a corporate communications strategy in conjunction with Brand Leaders.
- Work closely with the Marketing head and the other business stakeholders to close the PR calendar.
- Independently conceptualize and plan PR campaigns, analyze results, and suggest improvements.
- Ensure end-to-end execution of the campaigns and announcements.
- Manage and track the output of the external agencies.
- Built strong cross-functional relationships both with internal and external stakeholders.
- Be an advisor to the leadership team and internal stakeholders on the right messaging, forums, and channels to use.
- Create compelling stories using long form and various digital formats of writing.
- Handle the corporate communication response to crises that affect organizational perception and reputation.
- Creating and maintaining an ongoing media relationship with Key journalists in the BFSI, Technology, CRM, etc. domains
- Ongoing media outreach
- Organizing and conducting Relationship Building Meetings for key spokesperson
- Maintaining high traction on ongoing media coverage (Online, Print, TV, etc.)
- Preparing daily and monthly coverage reports
- Writing & disseminating press releases, notes, quotes, etc.
- Ensuring participation in awards, events, speakership opportunities, etc.
- Generating new ideas and leads to improve media presence & brand awareness.
- Advise senior executives of developments throughout the organization, either face-to-face or through regular written communication.

Academic Qualification :
- Full-Time Graduate/Post Graduate in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, PR/Advertising.
- Good understanding of current technology trends along with ultra-scalable systems
- Proficient in effectively communicating with corporate stakeholders across various domains, including technology and business.
