About Enago- Since 2005, Enago has helped numerous first-time and experienced researchers with manuscript preparation, submission, and publication. We cater to authors worldwide, namely from countries such as Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Russia, Germany, Turkey, Brazil, and Mexico. In our endeavor to reach out to ESL authors across geographies, we have collaborated with several publishers, scientific societies, and universities. We now intend to further increase this association through the specialized channel of Enago Academy, primarily by offering comprehensive and up-to-date resources to the scholarly community and by conducting training workshops and developing modules on academic writing and publishing.
About the Role (Job Description)
Content Management :
1. Drive content ideas revolving around the end-to-end process of manuscript writing, submission, and publication as well as developments within the scholarly publishing industry
2. Responsible for maintaining and developing content of Enago Academy's exclusive projects
3. Improve methods of content delivery by using novel content development platforms and ideas
4. Ensure that Enago Academy becomes an active platform for learning and development for early-stage researchers and students
5. Co-ordination with industry experts for different activities
6. Ideate and guide team members on newer projects and deliverables that can be incorporated on Enago Academy's learning platform
Project/Product Management
1. End-to-end quality management for projects and deliverables
2. Responsible for output quality in all formats such as video, text, quizzes, etc.
3. Driving content development and improvement for author workshops
4. Implementing delivery-related changes based on technological and content-based feedbacks for end users
5. Create interactive presentations (video- and audio-based content, animation, textual and graphical presentations based on raw content)
Team Management
1. Manage a team of content experts, writers, speakers, and coordinators
2. Responsible for maintaining version control for all team documentation and for different projects
3. Responsible for not breaching allocated content-related budgets
4. Responsible for maintaining team and individual metrics (target vs. achieved)
5. Responsible for overall hiring, quality, deadline, cost, project management
6. Responsible for individual performance management of team members
7. Responsible for all the content that is approved for publishing and is often accountable for it
Must Have
- (International) PhD in Physical/Life/Medical Sciences, with strong inclination toward content development and STEM industry
- Academic research and experience of publishing in high impact factor journals
- First author and/or corresponding author for at least 5 published papers
- At least 2 years of experience in the STM/academic publishing industry (Thorough knowledge of STEM industry)
- Strong content writing/editing skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
