CreditWorks - Manager - Origination & Client Coverage (1-3 yrs)

We have a successful track record in providing fund raising solutions and rating advisory to clients across a broad spectrum of industries. We are seeking to enhance our existing team and are looking to add to our already impressive pool in our team which comprises a mixture of former analysts, risk management professionals and finance professionals.

In line with our growth strategy we are seeking to supplement the existing team with new talent at our New Delhi office. We believe that the ongoing economic challenges and changing regulatory landscape is broadening the scope of analytical focus of lenders and the rating agencies, and will therefore potentially have implications for companies- credit ratings and fund raising plans. Responsibilities:
- Originating clients for fund raising and credit rating advisory services Examples include:
- Identify relevant targets for Business Development on an ongoing basis.
- Pre-sales analysis for the identified targets
- Developing and winning new business through marketing and sales activities and also building and maintaining a network of client contacts including day-to-day liaison with clients.
- Collecting all relevant information from the client for completion of assignment.
- Achieving assigned targets for the month, quarter and the year.
- Assistance in preparing financial spreads and information memoranda.
Requirements:
Interested candidates must have a post-graduate degree with relevant coursework in Marketing from a reputed institute or university. Preference shall be given to someone with dual specialization (Marketing & Finance) and with 1-3 years of Bank/NBFC/Rating Agency experience. The ideal candidate is one who is keen to handle a dual role of Business Development and Credit Analysis, does careful work and is eager to learn.
Essential skills needed for the role:
- 1 - 3 years of experience in business development role at a bank/ NBFC/ credit rating agency.
- Strong selling, marketing, business development and relationship skills with a keen drive to achieve given targets.
- Knowledge of financial statements, ratios and ability to analyze financials and business of the target company.
- Analytical and writing skills for preparing pre-sales memo, financial spreads and presentations
- Fluent English language skills - both written and oral
- Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work in a time-sensitive environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- PC skills; knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Desirable skills sought for the role:
- A self-starter and efficient time manager with the ability to handle multiple assignments on an on-going basis, with high productivity targets.
- Demonstrated interest in relationship building with a view to maintain long term relationships. A basic familiarity with capital markets.
- A strong can-do attitude and willingness to ask questions when clarity is needed.
- Experience in providing consulting advice to both established companies and new entrants.
