Job Description :

We are looking for a highly creative Content Writer who will help us expand our digital footprint and drive more value through digital content. You will be the primary resource in conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and developing online pieces that increase engagement. You will need to collaborate with internal product/sales/marketing teams to use data driven insights to create content. You will need to understand and use the technical tools necessary to get the job done. Your proven experience in developing and delivering quality writing pieces that appeal to the target audience will be critical to your success.

Key Responsibilities :

- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies) in order to develop original content

- Define overall content strategy and develop pieces in-line with the same (whether customers- engagement through digital medium, product descriptions, blogs or articles)

- Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems

- Coordinate with product, sales, design and marketing teams to define target audience and create compelling content that will capture their attention

- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase engagement

- Identify customers- needs and gaps in existing content and recommend new topics

- Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability

- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)

Requirements :

- The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of delivering tangible results in a similar role.

- Excellent writing and editing skills in English. Proficiency in other language will be preferred.

- Experience with Content Management Systems

- Bachelor's Degree

- 2+ year's experience in Content writer role

- Proficient in doing research using multiple sources

- Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team

- Preference will be given to those with a strong portfolio, bachelor's degree and relevant work experience.

- Vernacularisation will be an added advantage.
