Credit Cards Acquisition Consultant - Global Payments Firm (5-10 yrs)

Our client, a leading payments firm, is seeking a Credit Cards Acquisition Consultant with expertise in retail sales, digital and branch sales, project management, and portfolio management (card spends & activation). The consultant will drive credit card acquisition, optimize sales channels, and enhance portfolio performance
Key Responsibilities:
- Credit Card Acquisition Strategy - Develop and execute strategies for retail, digital, and branch sales channels
- Project Management - Oversee end-to-end implementation of card acquisition and portfolio enhancement initiatives
- Sales Optimization - Work with branch teams and digital sales channels to maximize credit card sales
- Portfolio Management - Analyze and implement strategies to increase card spends and activation rates
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with stakeholders across sales, marketing, operations, and risk teams
- Performance Tracking & Reporting - Monitor key metrics such as acquisition, activation, and spending trends
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Increase in Credit Card Acquisitions - Growth in new card issuance through retail, digital, and branch sales
- Portfolio Activation & Spends - Improved activation rates and higher average card spends
- Project Timelines & Execution - Successful implementation of acquisition and portfolio strategies within defined timelines
- Digital & Branch Sales Efficiency - Enhanced performance of digital and branch channels
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience - 5-10 years in credit card acquisition, retail/digital sales, and portfolio management
- Education - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Industry Knowledge - Strong understanding of credit card products, sales strategies, and customer acquisition
- Sales & Marketing Expertise - Experience in multi-channel acquisition strategies (branch, digital, retail)
- Project Management Skills - Ability to plan, execute, and track large-scale projects in the credit cards domain
Mandatory Skills:
- Credit Card Acquisition - Proven track record in card sales
- Retail & Digital Sales Optimization - Experience in managing sales channels (branch, digital, retail)
- Data & Analytics - Ability to analyze spend patterns and optimize portfolio performance
- Stakeholder Management - Ability to collaborate with internal teams (marketing, risk, sales, operations)
This is a 9-12 month contractual opportunity in Bangalore with a possibility of extension. The consultant will be required to relocate to Bangalore for the entire duration of the project
