Creative Director - Media (12-15 yrs)
What you'll do:
1. IDEATION AND THINKING :
- You will be a strong conceptual thinker that knows how to get to the heart of a creative challenge and build compelling brand stories
- You have experience leading and managing others in the creative process from Ideation through to production
- You think strategically and demonstrate a keen awareness of both online and offline trends
2. CAMPAIGNS:
- Develop and deliver pitches, that impress clients, and successfully bring to life the proposed campaign
- Work with clients to amend ideas based on their wishes, knowing how to communicate what is and isn't possible in order to achieve the intended results.
- You will be a confident communicator with good presentation and negotiation skills that ensure your team's ideas get buy-in from both internal and client audiences.
3. LEADERSHIP AND ORGANISATIONAL
- You are comfortable leading a small team of creatives across multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines
- You are a strong mentor who can use your experience to develop and grow those in your team
- You will be able to balance being both hands on when required, working as part of a creative team, while overseeing other projects in a core directional capacity.
- Growing and managing a small team of creative specialists to deliver creative work, supporting and mentoring team members to ensure ongoing development.
- Supporting the Client and Innovations Director and Digital Director on strategic creative projects.
- Taking responsibility for all creative aspects of our own Agency's brand, building the perception of creative strategy.
4. Market Impact & Recognition
- Design and execute a strategy that will result in Born Hi Digital's work being recognised, admired and respected by the industry, clients (existing and prospective), and talent (existing and prospective)
- Actively submit work that wins awards and/or receives international recognition for the above.
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 12 years' experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to think beyond the campaign and help develop and drive creative marketing solutions (platforms) for client brands, with an emphasis on digital media.
- Demonstrated experience working on a wide range of accounts and categories
- Sees ahead clearly; can anticipate future consequences and trends accurately; has broad knowledge and perspective; is future oriented; can help create competitive and breakthrough strategies and plans.
- Can connect strategies to creative solutions
- Sets and maintains high standards commensurate with the company's creative expectations
- Ability to think in abstract terms; can make connections between unrelated notions; can formulate innovative ideas where others cannot; seen as
original and value-added in brainstorming sessions.
- Works beyond what is described in job description as needed.
- Willing to be flexible for the team, and ultimately the work. Willingness to work across teams as needed.
