Craftsvilla - Area Manager (2-5 yrs)
Key responsibilities of the Area Manager are:
1. Identify potential markets for specific product categories
2. Identify potential sellers in the markets through primary and secondary research as well as field visits
3. Make calls to potential sellers to pitch them about Craftsvilla, explaining the registration and on-boarding processes and address their queries
4. Make extensive field visits to meet existing as well as new sellers to pitch them about Craftsvilla, explaining the registration and on-boarding processes and address their queries
5. Be a single point of contact for the sellers in the region and develop strategic sellers in the region for extended growth along with Craftsvilla
6. Make daily and weekly reports and detailed log of interactions with each seller
7. Coordinate with seller support team to address sellers- concerns
8. Key metrics to be owned by the Area Manager (subject to change): new sellers on-boarded, sales generated from key sellers etc.
Qualifications and Experience: The desired candidate should
1. Be capable of self-initiative, on-the-feet thinking and pitching to sellers
2. Have 2-5 years of experience with sales / business development roles in B2C / B2B companies, preferably e-commerce
3. Have outstanding convincing and negotiating skills and strong organizational and inter-personal skills
