Sales Lead (Bangalore and Pune)
Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage all the sales strategy for the company and understand the requirements from the supply side of the sales function
- Work with the marketing team for all campaigns that will facilitate sales as well as track the campaigns and progress in terms of sales conversions
- Be responsible for all sales communication and collaterals
- Be responsible and lead a team of sales associates and interns
- Strike strategic alliances with channel partners along with the sales team
- Developing individual sales targets for team and track the progress of the same
- Work with the sale and community team to increase brand awareness across various social media platforms
- Be responsible for the training and development of the team, settings KRAs, reviewing them and providing the necessary feedback
- Be responsible and accountable for the profit/loss of the sales function
- Work on achieving a certain level of occupancy of beds across all properties
- Maintain and expand database of prospects within the assigned territory
- Conduct competitive analysis to understand practices prevalent in the market. Analyse the relevant practices and incorporate the same into the business
Summary of Experience and Competencies required (knowledge, skill and behaviour) :
- Possess at least 7 to 15 years of experience in sales in industries relating to hospitality, co- working, real estate, co-living spaces and start ups
- Understand micro markets from the demand side of the business
- Should be able to demonstrate the ability to understand and have insights into consumer behaviour
- Possess excellent communication skills, team management skills, leadership traits and man management skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills is a requirement
- Ability to multi task, prioritize urgent / important work and smart work organisation skills is needed
- Should be passionate as a person and display high energy and enthusiasm
- Should be self motivated, aggressive in achieving the set targets with the help of the team and manage time effectively
- Should be easy going, having necessary networking skills and should be able to make connections easily
- Possess traits like resilience, reliability, perseverance and focus on achieving efficiency in the job
- Should be a good leader to guide and manage a team of sales executives
