Cosmic Payment Solutions is a fintech startup in the B2B2C digital payments space building unique and innovative payment solutions for the
next generation. It has partnered with leading banks and financial services companies to enable seamless delivery to its institutional customers and their end-users.
It is currently expanding its team in the product and technology units.
Current Position: Product Development Lead
As a Product development lead, the person will be responsible for the development and delivery of new products while enhancing the existing product suite. The role would require working with multiple stakeholders including in-house and third-party technology teams, sales and operations teams. This position is a PnL role and is empowered to make decisions and see their impact on customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create product strategy including pricing plans, target segment, partnerships, etc.
- Lead design, development, and management of new or existing products.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of the product from conception to final release and ensure that it can handle the complexities of the business
- Work with the business team and key stakeholders to define scope, costs, and timelines for updating existing products and implementing new products.
- Lead deployment of new products, for initial customers.
- Lead distribution partners strategy to identify sales opportunities and to position products on key platforms.
- Identify and execute product marketing ideas and opportunities based on industry trends, current market environment, and competitive trends.
- Lead changes to product portfolio to improve competitive position and optimal product performance
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Original Research - The ability to take primary and secondary data to come up with original insights that can be defended with data or evidence
- Structured Thinking - Can think clearly under a lot of data and make definitive choices along with pros and cons
- Has a good understanding of technology while wearing a business hat
- Someone who has rolled up sleeves and done stellar development work in FinTech/ B2B product organization
- Communication - Is able to communicate ideas clearly through workflows, feature descriptions etc.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset - Having a problem-solving attitude, ability to take initiatives, looking for alternatives, and improvising when required
Preferred Experience :
- Work Experience of 4-7 years
- A background in enterprise software is highly desirable
- Candidate who has worked within operations of large enterprises is also a large value add
- Should have experience in BFSI Industry either in product or direct business
- Education : B.tech & MBA
