Corporate Gurukul - Associate Director - Marketing & Activations (5-7 yrs)

Job Purpose : This role will primarily focus on managing marketing campaigns, collaterals and coordinating participation in industry events, conferences, and exhibitions. You should have a passion for marketing, excellent project management skills, and a knack for creating impactful marketing campaigns and events. You are required to work closely with the founder to build a great culture and a great leadership team.
Areas of Responsibility :
Paid Digitial Marketing Campaigns :
- You are responsible for planning, executing, and managing various marketing campaigns to achieve specific business goals. These campaigns can be digital or traditional, and they can focus on various aspects such as product launches, promotions, lead generation, brand awareness, or customer retention.
- Campaign Planning : Develop strategic marketing plans, defining campaign objectives, target audience, brand messaging, budget, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Execution : Coordinate with various teams, including creative, design, content, and digital marketing, to ensure the successful implementation of campaigns.
- Budget Management : Develop and Manage the marketing budget and allocated resources efficiently, ensuring the best possible return on investment (ROI) and monitoring expenditures.
- Tracking and Analysis : Monitor campaign performance, track relevant metrics, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns for better results.
- Reporting : Prepare campaign performance reports for stakeholders, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommended improvements. Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance metrics, generate reports, and provide insights to optimize strategies and tactics.
Marketing Collateral :
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, websites, advertisements, and other promotional content.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, product development, and finance, to ensure a unified approach to marketing initiatives.
Events :
- Identify and coordinate participation in relevant industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to showcase CG's programs and establish thought leadership.
- Promote event participation through various marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and website updates.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless execution of events and achieve desired outcomes.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field. A relevant master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing and Campaign activation roles, preferably in the education or EdTech industry.
- Strong knowledge of marketing and Campaign strategies, tactics, and best practices, with a focus on digital marketing, social media and media relations.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful marketing and Campaigns, in collaboration with the agency.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics and Campaign measurement tools to track campaign performance and derive actionable insights.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve targets and deliver high-quality work.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and the ability to identify opportunities and overcome challenges.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
