Corporate Digital Communication Specialist - FMCG (8-10 yrs)
Our client is one of the largest player in the Food & Beverages industry. It has an extensive distribution system spanning more than a million outlets operating with world class execution standards.
We are their talent search partner and currently scouting for professionals with 8-10 years of experience in Social and Digital Communications / Marketing. The incumbent needs to have good experience in social media management for a large / similar sized organization and or significant work experience in a large / cutting edge social / digital agency. Working knowledge of MS Office / Illustrators / Photoshop / Design software / photography / video editing would be an advantage.
In this role of "Corporate Digital Communication Specialist" based in Bangalore, the incumbent would responsible to create and manage the brand identity and brand proposition of our client in social and digital channels.
Job Objectives
To create and manage the brand identity and brand proposition of client organization in social and digital channels. Incumbent ensures that client organization remains relevant to its audience in the social and digital space.
Job Responsibilities
1. Create a base of loyal followers and ambassadors of client organization's social assets
The person should be able to create a fan base different from the brand followers since client organization is positioned as a manufacturing organization and not an owner of brands. Our system has enough brand followers.
2. Effectively manage crisis and issues pertaining to client organization in social media - product issues, employee issues, accidents, bad experience etc
To monitor, analyse and devise relevant strategies and communication to manage social media flare-ups and crisis pertaining to client organization. As a large company there are several issues that crop up in the digital space impairing client organization's brand reputation
3. Develop and create content that keeps this loyal user base engaged
To partner with third party agencies and create relevant content and stories that finds organic traction
4. Manage social media budgets and costs
To partner with third party agencies and allocate the most optimal spends on client organization's social and digital assets, throughout the year, thereby creating a fan base and also establishing client organization's brand identity.
5. Ensure adherence to audits and compliances
To ensure 100% compliance to all audits and compliances as per media buying processes.
Education
Degree - Mass Comm / Social Media / Journalism
OR MBA in Communications / Marketing
Experience
8-10 years of experience relevant to Social and Digital Communications / Marketing
Business Knowledge
Social media management for a large / similar sized organization and or significant work experience in a large / cutting edge social / digital agency
Functional competencies
1. Social and Digital native - Must be aware of all that is going on in this space including technology / platforms / outreach
2. Content creation - the knack to pick up stories and showcase them through eye catching content
3. Analytics and trend prediction - Knowledge and appreciation of user data and social asset analytics to be able to predict outreach and content development
4. Working knowledge of photography / videography / graphic design (any of them) - is an asset will set the incumbent up for success
IT knowledge
Working knowledge of MS Office / Illustrators / Photoshop / Design software / photography / video editing is an advantage
