Copywriter - Internet/Online (5-10 yrs)
Job responsibilities:
- Creating pristine written text that works hand-in-hand with the visual concepts generated
- Choose the right tone-of-voice as per the campaign, client and brand style and appropriate for many platforms, such as web content, brochure, email, datasheets, whitepapers, roll-up banner, posters, infographics, video scripts, blogs and more
- Understanding the message, the client is seeking to express and translating this into written content
- Writing copy to engage the reader
- Carrying out amendments to client specifications
- Working with the art director to devise creative strategies
- Liaising with the client on a regular basis
- Generating creative ideas to build innovative campaigns.
Skills and experience
- 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Working for B2B clients is a must
- Bachelors or Masters in Mass Communications or Journalism from a leading school
- The ability to write and think creatively
- A storyteller at heart.
- Significant experience in writing strong, succinct copy that is grammatically correct
- A flexible approach and willingness to adapt ideas to the needs of clients
- The ability to work to strict deadlines without compromising on work quality
- Should be hardworking and looking for a long-term run to build a career
