Copy Writer/Social Media Marketer - Fashion - Contractual Role (4-10 yrs)
We are looking for an experienced Copywriter and Social Media Marketer who will be responsible for curating our brand's social channels, giving voice and tonality to our brand.
You will be our go to person for all our communication, creative copywriting and social media requirements. Yes, you would be wearing multiple hats, as we are a young start-up and stepping into the world of Women Luxury Apparel Industry for a cause.
Major Role & Responsibilities :
- Create and curate relevant copy to reach the right audiences. Conceptualise, implement and monitor social media and digital media campaigns. Be our story teller not just a content writer.
- Identify brand's requirements and gaps in the content and social media spaces.
- Build, identify, analyse and strategies social media strategies suggest mediums and platforms to use to increase user base and sell our products.
- Generate content ideas, write content for social, campaigns, product descriptions, website content, other marketing communication, and increase interactions and engagements
- Create monthly calendars, work with design teams, increase brand reach and conversions
- Measure and analyse performance of the campaigns, create reports and suggest changes / amendments
- Bring a sense and balance of authority and maturity in the written words that naturally induces popularity and sales
- Write creative copy for campaigns for collection, sales and special offers.
- Increasing Social Media fan following across all platforms and identify the upcoming digital hangouts.
Core Competencies :
- Should have a flair to write creative copy for social media, website and other marketing communication
- Create and post social media content for social channels like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Ads campaigns and Captions for the Videos.
- Create Social Media Audit Report and Social Media Strategy
- Ensure tracking, collecting, and analysing relevant social media metrics and ensure timely, effective, and efficient reporting of all social media efforts
- Build and nurture social media platform-specific communities and audiences
- Analysing social media insights to guide future social media campaigns.
- Monitor the activities of main competitors in social media
- Should be able to produced fresh and free of plagiarism content or any similarities
Requirements :
- 4-8 years of relevant experience in managing social media and producing content
- Should be research-oriented professional with an excellent understanding of consumer behaviour in lifestyle, entertainment and fashion industry
- A strong understanding of editorial and digital content techniques and style, long, (medium and short content as per the requirement) with a sense of adding SEO optimised keywords to the online content with a focus on organic growth.
- Extensive knowledge of Social Media Platforms, Web Proficiency, Content Creation, excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
- Background in E-commerce or luxury apparel will earn extra brownie points.
- Good command over social media platforms especially Instagram, Pinterest, Linkedin
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in content creation, social media, preferably in the fashion industry and willingness to work in a startup. .
- Extremely knowledgeable about the fashion industry.
- Experience and comfort with shooting and editing video content will be an added advantage.
