Copy Writer - EdTech (3-4 yrs)
About the Role:
We are looking for a Copywriter to craft compelling and engaging content across various platforms, including social media, website, paid ads, scripts for influencers, community etc.Your words will bring our brand's vision to life, shaping narratives that connect with parents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft high-impact ad copy for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms
- Develop compelling headlines, taglines, and CTAs that drive action
- Write engaging and persuasive video scripts for product explainers, YouTube campaigns, social media ads, brand storytelling, influencer marketing etc.
- Collaborate with designers, performance marketers and video editors to bring campaigns to life
- Create copy for social media, email campaigns, landing pages, app notifications, community, push ads and digital banners
- Optimize content based on analytics, audience behavior and industry trends
- Align messaging and tone across all channels to ensure a consistent brand voice
- Stay up-to-date with EdTech marketing trends, competitor messaging, and audience pain points
- Experiment with new content formats to enhance engagement and storytelling
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of experience in short-form content and video scriptwriting (preferably in EdTech, B2C/D2C brands or agency)
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field
- Strong portfolio demonstrating writing skills
- Ability to adapt tone and messaging based on different audiences and platforms
- Excellent research skills to ensure accuracy and relevance in all content pieces
- Ability to craft emotionally resonant, high-impact copy with strong CTAs
- Prior experience writing for social media platforms, email and performance marketing
- Ability to optimize copy based on CTR and other engagement metrics
- Comfortable working in an agile, high-growth environment with tight deadlines
