Looking for a sharp and versatile copywriter who can put words to work.
- The Copywriter with a conversion focus will help us stand out to our prospects is a noisy marketplace. We are looking for someone who can blend the science of selling with the art of writing to build genuine connections. You would be working in a fast-paced, high-pressure department, so flexibility, creativity and excellent communication skills are absolutely essential.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Outline the plan for copy and creative for inbound leads across platforms
- Writing copy that drives conversions, increases click through rates or impacts other key metrics as determined by the product owner or other stakeholders
- Using data and key metrics to measure the impact of various copy requests and transforming those insights into measurable ideas
- Submitting your original copy to designers and product owners ensuring that they are provided with a sufficient amount of context (both conceptual and visual) for translating your ideas into platform-specific creatives
- Iterating copy based on internal feedback, A/B testing data and campaign performance
- Collaborating with the design and content team to ensure that customer-facing copy is consistent across all company platforms
- Working closely with product owners to align your copy ideas/suggestions with daily, weekly and monthly business objectives
- Uncover blind spots in communication claims to hone in the value of our products
Skills & Abilities :
- Excellent communication skills and an impeccable eye for detail
- Strong commercial focus and the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly
- At least 4 years experience in online copywriting for landing pages, Facebook ads, emailers (exp. in an e-commerce is preferred)
- Ability to generate copy and concepts that resonate user's needs and facilitate business goals
- Ability to approach tasks with a - can-do- attitude and work well both independently and within a team
- Fluency in English and fluency in at least one other language
- Background in journalism, communications, marketing or consumer psychology would be a plus
