We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales & Business Development Team Leader with 10-15 years of experience in international freight forwarding. The ideal candidate will have in-depth industry knowledge and a proven track record in driving sales and managing high-volume accounts.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Identify and connect with new customer bases, effectively communicating and negotiating to maintain strong client relationships.

2. Leverage specific knowledge of international and domestic freight forwarding, gateway operations, and market trends to drive business growth.

3. Develop and implement strategies for cold calling, qualifying leads, and connecting with prospective business partners.

4. Create and execute a comprehensive sales plan that meets and exceeds monthly sales goals and initiatives.

5. Lead and mentor a sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve collective targets.

6. Analyze market conditions and competitor activities to inform business strategies.

7. Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

Qualifications and Requirements :

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field. 10-15 years of sales experience in the freight forwarding industry, with a focus on high-volume accounts.

2. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.

3. Strong understanding of international and domestic freight forwarding operations.

4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

5. Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team.

6. Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
