Role- Regulatory Sales (Business development)
Location - Chennai
Key Responsibilities :
- Carry out all activities involved in tracking the regulatory issues pertinent to Renewable Energy generation in Tamil Nadu
- Participate in consultations/discussions held at Regulatory forums on the subjects which shall have commercial impact on our operating wind and solar project in Tamil Nadu
- Prepare internal notes on the ongoing regulatory issues for interpretation of the ongoing issues
- Analyse the various scenarios which might affect the CGP compliance of our operating wind + solar capacity
- Track the developments on Open Access policy capturing implications in the ongoing transactions as well as future Open Access approvals
- Obtain the inference of industry bodies/associations on the various regulatory developments in the state
- Assist in preparation of applications/documents for filing of regulatory compliances for the ongoing projects
- Obtain legal opinion or consult on issues with lawyers in Tamil Nadu that has a commercial impact.
- Engage with TNERC and attend the daily basis hearings of the CERC/APTEL/TNERC on petition that has an impact on our business.
- Draft letters and representation against the issues affecting the Tamil Nadu assets.
- Assist in PPA and SPSA Structuring and Negotiations.
- Monthly allotment of energy keeping in view the captive compliance and consumer requirements.
- Ensuring timely invoicing and receivables from the consumers.
- Assist in Traders/facilitators/Intermediaries payment on monthly basis.
