Content Writer - SAAS Firm (2-4 yrs)
We are seeking a talented Junior Content Writer to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing and storytelling, with a knack for producing engaging and informative content. You will play a crucial role in crafting compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience and drive brand awareness and engagement.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Learning about the product, the competitors and the industry to gain deep knowledge
- Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop creative content.
- Developing content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, scripts, whitepapers, emails, campaigns and more.
- Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
- Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
- Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.
- Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
- Identifying customers' needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or related field.
- 2-4 years of proven content writing or copywriting experience
- Low dependency on AI tools for content creation.
- Working knowledge of content management systems.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- A portfolio of published articles.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Good attention to details
- Can work with minimum supervision and a team player
